Before you buy
- Monthly and yearly Pro renew automatically. The one-time purchase does not.
- You cancel in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.
- When Pro ends, your tasks, diary entries and completion records are not deleted.
Scope and licence
These terms cover the use of OK Planner (“the app”) and related support, provided by 上野太郎 (“we”).
The software licence for the app as distributed through the App Store is Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. These terms supplement the conditions of service; they are not a custom EULA replacing Apple’s. Where the two conflict on licensing, Apple’s Standard EULA governs.
Personal information is covered by the Privacy Policy. Because we operate from Japan, the statutory seller disclosure required there is published in Japanese at 特定商取引法に基づく表記; the same operator details are summarised in English under Contact.
The app and what it needs
The app helps you organise tasks and plans, keep daily records, run a focus timer and look back. It needs no account of ours. It does not diagnose, treat or make medical judgements, and it does not promise any particular outcome.
It requires a device running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. Apple Watch support requires a compatible iPhone, an Apple Watch on watchOS 26 or later, Pro, and sharing turned on. Features such as voice input may be unavailable depending on your device, language, OS version and permissions.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, buy paid features only in line with applicable law and Apple’s purchase conditions, including any parental consent required.
Buying Pro, and auto-renewal
The core features are free, and iCloud sync does not require Pro. Pro is the paid tier for calendar sync, Apple Watch sharing, statistics for earlier weeks and months, My Routines, adding tasks in bulk, look-back reports, repeat and auto-start settings, and colour and type customisation. What is on sale and what it includes are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you buy.
- Monthly
- An auto-renewing subscription billed each month. It renews and is charged each period unless you cancel.
- Yearly
- An auto-renewing subscription billed once a year, for the full annual amount. Where a per-month figure is shown for comparison, it is not billed monthly.
- One-time purchase
- A non-consumable purchase granting Pro. It does not auto-renew. An existing monthly or yearly subscription is not cancelled automatically, so cancel it separately if you no longer want it.
Price, currency and billing period follow what the App Store shows you at purchase, in your own store and currency. Once a purchase is approved it is charged to your Apple Account. If it is waiting on someone’s approval, it becomes available once that approval and the transaction are confirmed.
To stop a renewal, cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Renewal processing and billing timing follow Apple’s conditions. Notice of and consent to any price change also follow Apple’s mechanism and applicable law.
“No expiry” on the one-time purchase means there is no recurring charge. It is not a promise of support on every future OS release or of perpetual service. Material changes to what is provided are covered under “Changes, interruptions, liability”.
Cancelling, restoring, refunds
Cancelling
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OK Planner. Cancelling normally leaves Pro available until the end of the period you have paid for. Removing the app from your device does not cancel a subscription.
Apple’s cancellation steps
Restoring a purchase
Using the same Apple Account you bought with, tap “Restore purchases” on the Pro screen in the app. Pro is restored where a valid subscription or one-time purchase is found. Restoring a purchase and restoring your diary records are two different things.
Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple, through Apple’s refund request page. Whether a refund applies is decided under Apple’s conditions and applicable law. Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal, cancellation or refund you have where you live — including, in the EU and the UK, your rights under consumer law. For a fault, you are also welcome to contact us.
Your records and data
Rights in what you enter and attach remain with you or the rightful owner. Nothing here transfers copyright to us. When you bring in someone else’s photos or writing, make sure you have the rights or consent you need.
Tasks, diary entries and photos are stored on your device. iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on, records sync through the private iCloud area of your own Apple Account. It requires a compatible app version, a working iCloud environment, a connection and free space. Display settings and a running timer stay per device.
Sync carries edits and deletions too. If you change the same record on two devices, one version will win, based on the order of changes and similar factors. It is not a backup that preserves earlier states, and it does not guarantee that deleted content can be recovered. Turning sync off does not erase anything on the device or in iCloud. Deletion behaviour, including photos that may remain in iCloud, is covered in the Privacy Policy.
Against loss, damage or deleting the app, check your sync state and your device backup settings. We cannot remotely restore data that exists only on your device. A look-back report turns counts and durations into a PDF; it is not a way to store or restore diary text or photos.
When Pro ends, tasks, diary entries and completion records are not deleted and stay usable with the core features. Pro-only behaviour such as new calendar syncing and Watch sharing stops. Data saved to an external calendar or shared elsewhere also needs managing at that destination.
Using it fairly
Please do not use the app unlawfully, infringe anyone’s rights or privacy, obtain purchases or entitlements improperly, or interfere with the app or the systems behind it.
Speech recognition and calendar display can misrecognise, lag or be limited by permissions and connectivity. Check anything important yourself, and do not rely on a notification alone for urgent contact or for safety-critical matters.
Changes, interruptions, liability
We may change the app or suspend it temporarily for maintenance, for OS or third-party service changes, for faults, or for other unavoidable reasons. Except in an emergency, changes that significantly affect use, and any discontinuation, are announced on this site or in the app with reasonable notice.
If a paid feature is impaired, we will fix it or explain the situation, and where a refund is due it follows Apple’s process and applicable law.
Where we cause you loss, we are liable in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law, including Japanese consumer legislation and, where it applies to you, the consumer law of your own country.
Changes to these terms, and governing law
If these terms change, we will announce what changed and when it takes effect, on this site or in the app. Where the law requires consent to a change, we will obtain it.
These terms are governed by the law of Japan, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions that apply where you habitually reside. We will try to resolve disputes in good faith; failing that, they go before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
